Roland was admitted to the Bar in 2013. He worked with several law firms and later joined Transparency International – Kenya as a Programme Officer at its Advocacy and Legal Advisory Centre in Mombasa.

Roland has over 13 years of research and advocacy experience working in national, regional, and international non-profit organizations, including, the Kenya Human Rights Commission (KHRC), the Network of African National Human Rights Institutions (NANHRI), Freedom House, and Amnesty International.

Roland is an experienced social justice advocate, resource mobilization, and donor relations manager. He is a partner in charge of the Research, Consultancies and Linkages Department at the firm.
