Julias was admitted to the Bar in 1987 and has since been in active private practice.

He previously worked in the civil service as an assessor of income tax, lecturer in government and administration at the Government Training Institute (G.T.I) and as town clerk of Municipal Council of Bungoma before going into private practice in the name and style of J.S Khakula and Company.

He has sat and advised in a number of corporate boards and is passionate about community development projects.

Having retired from active practice, Julias continues to handle specific assignments for the firm as a consultant. The firm continues to benefit from his wealth of experience in the practice of law.

His key areas of practice include; Dispute Resolution, Company Law and Company Secretarial work, Probate and Administration, Family Law, Criminal Law and Conveyancing.
