Andrew was admitted to the Bar in 2006. He worked with various corporate organizations before joining J.S Khakula & Company Advocates as a partner in 2009.

Andrew is passionate about unpacking complex legal issues and providing innovative, time and cost-efficient legal solutions that will make the client happy and satisfied. With over 17 years of experience under his belt, Andrew has represented and advised local and international clients, particularly in dispute resolution, insurance law, immigration law, commercial transactions, employment and labor law, tax law, registration and restructuring of various entities such as companies, partnerships, NGOs and public interest litigation among others.

Andrew’s key areas of practice include; Dispute Resolution, Commercial law, Conveyancing, Commercial Securities, Immigration Law, Public Procurement Law, Tax Law, Probate and Administration, Registration of Business Entities, Legal Compliance and Registration of Non-profit / Charitable organizations, and general legal consultancy.

Apart from engaging in full-time practice, Andrew is also a university lecturer and an academic having published scholarly papers in several peer-reviewed journals. He also undertakes numerous legal consultancy assignments.
